Business Octane has been founded and spearheaded by Mr Sanjay Bansal, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director

He has been a very keen student of marketing and buyer psychology from the beginning of his career. From his experience of selling to enterprises over last 15 years, his involvement in making major purchase decisions and personal insights, he has come to a conclusion that a majority of the customers “do not know exactly what they want" because they do not know “what is what" and “how it would make a difference to them".
This goes contrary to the generally accepted marketing paradigm that "customers know what they want and the role of a marketing centric organization is to satisfy those needs". That is why he has a strong conviction that selling is so easy but buying is so difficult.
If the customers do not know what exactly they need, then it has serious implications for slowing down the customers buying. Customers always buy when they see they are getting a higher value than the money they are paying for it. So the more they delay the buying, the more they would miss out on the additional value that they would have got if they had made a well informed decision earlier. This is the reason why Business Octane has created the largest and most innovative demonstration infrastructures in India in the domains of collaboration & learning. He plans to take the same approach to the rest of the world.
This fundamental insight has helped him work with majority of Fortune 500 companies and top corporates in India and win several accolades for innovations in sales and marketing. His passion for excellence and continuous learning and experience of conducting more than 1000 hours of training on sales, marketing and human resources have also helped him create a very customer caring sales team. He personally trains each and every sales person to imbibe the Business Octane values of genuine desire to help the customer and not to look for deals, but a long-term partnership with every customer .
He holds a PGDM in marketing & finance from Indian Institute of management, Lucknow and a BE in mechanical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. He is an avid reader with a strong interest in Psychology, Management, Sales & Marketing, Science and Interiors design.
